Everything KilnQueue does
KilnQueue keeps a community pottery studio’s kilns and shelves organized: what’s firing next, who’s waiting, and where everyone’s work is. Here is everything it does today.
Firings
- Firing queue
- Every firing with its kiln, cone, load type (bisque, glaze or luster), start time, piece count and notes.
- Firing stages
- Queued, loading, firing, cooling, unloaded. Move a firing along with one tap.
- Cone suggestions
- Pick common cones from a list as you type, or enter your own.
Members and shelves
- Member list
- Name, shelf, pieces waiting, phone, email and status: active, waitlist or paused.
- Member shelf page
- Each member gets a private page with their shelf, pieces waiting and the next firings, so they can check before coming in.
- Email the link
- Send a member their page from your studio’s name. Replies come to you.
Running the business
- Staff logins
- Add people by email. They sign in with their own email and work in your account; only you can change settings or the team.
- Import from a spreadsheet
- Bring in up to 500 rows at a time from a CSV file. Every row is checked like the form, and nothing is added if one has a problem.
- Export any list
- Download any list as CSV, in the same format the import accepts.
- Search and filters
- Longer lists get a search box and status filters, so you can find a row in seconds.
- No passwords
- Sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google.
- Works on a phone
- Every screen works in a phone browser. Nothing to install.
A closer look
- A kiln firing queue for shared studios
Keep every planned firing in one queue with kiln, cone and load type, and move each through loading, firing, cooling and unloaded.
- Shelf pages for pottery studio members
Give each member a private page with their shelf, pieces waiting and the next firings, and cut down on “is my work out yet?” questions.
